Café Espoir raises funds for immigrant women and more

Café Espoir, a project run by volunteers from the Vancouver Korean Canadian Women’s Society not only raises funds to help the free telephone counselling service it runs, it also gives a portion of its profits to the Burnaby Task Force on Homelessness. The volunteer barristas see this as an opportunity to socialize, gain skills and improve their English language skills. Café Espoir is located at 4501 North Road in Vancouver and it’s open from Monday to Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Read more.
