A list of agencies in Vancouver providing various services to refugees:

ISS of BC – settlement services and programs to assist newcomers integrate into the community.

Inland Refugee Society – housing assistance, ESL and life skills classes, a weekly food bank and other services.

Kinbrace – dedicated support and accessible educational resources.

Refugee Health – medical issues pertinent to refugees, tools to improve mental health assessment and health literacy, community resources.

Canadian Red Cross – provides tools to help prevent marginalization, distress and exploitation to refugees with minimal resources facing the reality of being homeless.

MOSAIC – programs and services to empower newcomers to fully participate in Canadian society.

Rainbow Refugee Committee – supports and advocates for people seeking refugee protection because of persecution based on sexual orientation, gender identity, or HIV status. Engages in outreach, advocacy and public education on QLGBT/HIV and refugee issues.

PovNet – building an online anti-poverty community by providing information  and resources to refugees.
