Vancouver Immigrant

Immigration advocates are calling for Vancouver to become a ‘sanctuary city.’  If this becomes reality the Vancouver Police Department would not be able to report a person’s immigrant status to CBSA (Canada Border Service Agency) unless there is suspcion of criminal activity. Sanctuary cities are Toronto, Hamilton, Portland, Seattle, and Chicago. Read more on the CBC website.
